Les règles d'utilisation et plan de bande du transpondeurs DATV
I hope this article on DATV and PlutoSDR can help some radio amateurs to progress to the amateur TV broadcast. Although I have paid close attention to its content, some points may be inaccurate or even wrong. I am not a DATV specialist, but a true beginner, who made his first DATV experience with QO-100 in December 2019 . Feel free to solicit me through comments (at the bottom of the article) to bring your contribution to the readers.
I will soon write an article about DATV reception as such, which is necessary for any transmitting station (about the use of Minitiouner Pro, but also with the SDR solution of Markro92, the software demodulator). Another project would be an article on DATV transmission using the LimeSDR-mini transmitter and a raspberry-pi on which the Portsdown tools are installed. This configuration was the one I implemented in the first place.
Do not hesitate to post in comments your experiences, your remarks which are welcome to complete the article.
I would like to make it clear that for your technical support needs, this is only envisaged through comments so that all readers can contribute and benefit equally. No support by private contact (email) will be provided. I also invite you to follow my twitter account @f5uii dedicated exclusively to amateur radio activities, on which a lot of interesting news and technical information are circulating and which I gladly share.
Very good DATV transmission via Es’hail 2 / Phase 4A / Qatar Oscar 100 satellite !
