Discover Anytone AT-D868UV, what is it really worth? 📶

Intro

You used to find on my blog articles about MMDVM. I’m back from HamRadio show in Friedrichshafen with this new DMR and analog dual band UHF and VHF in my luggage: the famous Anytone AT-D868-UVE. This new item is sell about150 € in Europe.

I take advantage of the few weeks of tests to present you an report of the use of this recent DMR Tier 2 talky-walky, and see with you if “famous” rhymes with “fabulous”. Let’s first look at the features on the paper.

The box contains :

  • Complete 37-page manual booklet in English (on paper!)
  • Anytone AT-D868UVE
  • Battery 3100 mAh
  • Portable dual band V/U antenna (157mm)
    Programming cable
  • Charging base
  • Charging Power Transformer
  • Belt clip
  • Lanyard

The box does not contain any software. You will need to download the programming software with its USB driver to install first (and firmware 2.30): 868UV_V2.30 official released

      As written in the review, APRS feature is not for moment supported since the format is not (for moment) supported by the networks. I need to test that in more detail.
      About MMDVM, yes the projects (MMDVM and MMDVMHost) are opensource : https://github.com/g4klx My PCB (with standard size components) is available on shop.f5uii.net, as gerber PCB files here. MMDVM is not design for this nucleo STM32F072 board.

    1. Un bip peu retentir Ă  la fin de la transmission de votre correspondant, permettant ainsi de savoir quand reprendre le microphone. Dans le CPS, ouvrir le panneau Optional Setting / Onglet Alert tone / Digital Call ResetTone = On
